 This year it was decided that the end of term event was to be a full afternoon/evening event throughout the union, rather than the traditional summer ball. It was a long day in the end, we finished at 6.30am! BIG thanks go to: Charli, Emily, Greg, Jamie, Lauren & Phil.
That was the last big event of the 08/09 academic year, but with Freshers Week 2009 only three months away there’s not much time to relax!
The trellis has changed!
This time next week the Summer Ball 2009 will be open! Stage Services are still planning, but we’re now starting the actual preperation. We’ll be getting to City Hall at midday on Friday, spending all afternoon and the early evening rigging, programming and rehearsing to make it the best ball yet.
June 5th will see the 4th Annual Hallam Union Summer Ball, this year back at it’s first venue, Sheffield City Hall Ballroom. The Ballroom, located in the basement of the City Hall is a traditional ballroom, complete with illuminate dancefloor and sprung dance floor. (more…)
