Friday 19th & Saturday 20th February see Hallam take on Uni in the ultimate battle of winter sports in the first part of Varsity 2010. There are five points for the main Varsity competition available at the events taking place at Sheffield Ski Village (Ski-ing and snowboarding on Friday) and Sheffield Arena (Ice Hockey on Saturday). Once again, Stage Services is providing all the technical equipment for the event and after party at the Ski Village.

On Friday 20th February, the Stage Services crew made the trip up the mountain side to provide the technical services for Winter Varsity 2009 – the battle (of epic proportions?) between Hallam’s and Uni’s winter sports teams.

With competitions on both the ski slope and boarding slope, there was a large area to cover. All this was added to with some drizzley weather, meaning more people took the opportunity to sit inside rather than watching the action for themselves.
